Plaster is a very Eco friendly substance with low embodied energy and no toxic coatings. There is no negative effect at the end of its product life as it is harmless to the environment when disposed of.

Tornado has specialized in hand crafting  plaster lighting for twenty years – so we feel we know a thing or two about this craft. Our design criteria is to make beautifully finished lights with the emphasis on unfussy design combined with low-energy light sources. The majority of our luminaire design has been driven by  our philosophy of promoting the use of low energy light sources.  However, we cover all the popular lamp types and supply both trade and individual users.
